Midweek Schedule and Preview

Happy new year!  Just got back on the saddle so a bit abbreviated / late and also haven't watched a match in a while so reports on previous action just reflection on what I've read.  Bundesliga players are returning to their clubs today so there will be some friendlies for those guys if some don't move.

Today (Tuesday)

Ki Sung Yueng -- Swansea go to Crystal Palace at 3PM ET on NBC Extra Time. Ki started and played 90 last weekend so there's a decent chance that he starts today too but with Swansea really struggling, you never know what the interim manager (Curtis) will do ahead of Clement's formal appointment later this week. Fer though looks out of the mix after being pulled before HT so Ki should be in the mix.

Lee Chung Yong -- Listed him second as though he did come on as a sub last weekend, it seemed more about saving first team guys legs for this critical match. He should still be on the bench though and maybe his performance was enough so that he can get a few more looks.

Wednesday

Son Heung Min -- Tottenham host Chelsea at 3PM ET on NBCSN.  He started and played 90 but apparently didn't do great so I'd expect Sissoko to come into his spot.  Perhaps Pochettino goes for surprise so not sure about anything but Son should have a spot on the bench. With Lamela returning soon, Son will need to up his performances though.
