Weekend Recap Nov 18th and Midweek Preview Nov 21th

Lol, didn't realize I put up a stale date last week. CL today.

Tuesday

Son Heung Min -- At Dortmund - 2:45 PM ET on Fox Sports 2. A disaster showing for Tottenham who were defensively exposed repeatedly in the same spots. Son was on the bench and it seemed a lost cause when he did come on, with Kane and Alli both coming off at the same time. That said, Son had a decent chance with an open volley over. A last gasp chance that would have made for an interesting final few minutes but instead had nothing going on. Son should start midweek but he will soon have to up his performances with Lamela nearing a return. With only seeding on the line, the pressure will be low but will that work against Son?

Recap

Ji Dong Won -- Came on for garbage time. Had a half claim for a handball, hitting defender's hand as he cut into the box, but that was about it for his ten or so minutes.

Koo Ja Cheol -- Did not play in favor of more defensive Khedira.

Lee Chung Yong -- Still out injured.

Ki Sung Yueng -- Ki came on for Fer at 70 minute mark. He slid into the back though rather than Fer's more advanced role. So though Ki looked to make some decent runs, it was too little and too late to have an impact when teammates looked resigned to defeat.

Kwon Chang Hoon -- The first half which I watched was really poor, where KCH showed his lack of natural fit for his winger position, and having a hard time impacting the game out wide. But of course when I left at halftime, he proceeds to win the match for Dijon, providing a great assist for a goal to put them into the lead, and then scoring the final goal by himself. KCH's reputation must be growing in France.

Suk Hyun Jun -- Was an industrious force at CF and was rewarded with a goal, working free of some tight defense to head it deftly into far corner. As with KCH, didn't see second half, but nice to see Koreans have a huge impact in their match against each other.

Lee Seung Woo -- Came on for final ten minutes in a match where they went from winning to defeat. Didn't get to watch but had some decent chances and looked lively. Maybe if one of the bounces went his way, he could have gotten that goal to open future opportunities but as of now, he'll have to continue to wait.
