Weekend Recap March 17th

A pretty poor weekend in what I saw.

Ki Sung Yueng -- Ki looked a bit off the pace but with teammates losing possession so easily, perhaps just put a spotlight on some of Ki's flaws on a bad day. With the ball Ki was fine but that was very rare and he was no less guilty of giving Eriksen and the gang too much space. A tough match and hopefully Ki plays better on his return.

Son Heung Min -- If you want to see why Son isn't a great center forward in many situations, we saw vs Swansea. When he could get behind for his patented runs, he's obviously very dangerous. Being the furthest up also does give him a chance to do that more often as when he was wrongly called for offside on a great run and shoot. But when the attack got tight, Son isn't precise or varied enough to handle Swansea's backline and was often invisible in traffic. Ahead of the WC, worth noting that we may be in situation where that might not be a problem, but worth watching at Tottenham without Kane over next few weeks.

Koo Ja Cheol -- A really bad match for Augsburg as well. Koo was also invisible and Augsburg suffered for it.

Lee Chung Yong -- An unused sub again.

Kwon Chang Hoon -- Overprotective ahead of international break? I don't know why KCH didn't play at all, but fortunately, Dijon was able to eek out a draw in the final seconds.

Suk Hyun Jun -- In a disappointing trend, SHJ continues to be on the bench, coming in as a late sub.

Lee Seung Woo -- Wow, didn't even make the squad.
