Weekend Preview Sep 29 and Midweek Recap Sep 25

Two matches in a week is a pain, especially given the lack of minutes by the guys midweek. Also a reminder that Hamburg (Hwang Hee Chan) faces St Pauli (Park Yi Young) in derby on Fox a Sports 1 at 7:30 AM. HHC has a mild injury and PYY has been struggling for form so we will see if it’s a Korean derby too (leaning to no).

Ki Sung Yueng-- I think Ki is on the bench for now.


Son Heung Min-- Came on a sub and though he wasn’t great, he did bring some energy and danger. He had one shot cleared off the line, and a claim (soft) for a PK and some good moments outside the box as well. A positive sign ahead of a start this weekend and probably corresponding bench for CL.


Suk Hyun Jun-- An unused sub. Given that they were losing by three, we will see if saving him for weekend or just not considered by manager. We will see but should be in squad anyway.


Ji Dong Won-- Still out with injury.


Koo Ja Cheol-- Missed midweek with injury but hopefully extra day for Sunday match means that he’s fit. I haven’t seen in training pics yet though.
