Wednesday
Hwang Hee Chan -- Leipzig "go to" Liverpool at 3PM on Paramount+ -- Hwang came on as a sub relatively early for him at just past the hour. Leipzig scored soon after so some of the pressure eased off but Hwang again showed the physicality that he brings to Leipzig's front line. A few times he came close to beating the backline, and had a great run and dribble... until he ran out of space to score. The commentators were very complimentary of Hwang and I agreed on this performance despite more bad passes than I'd like but to force the issue, he might need to find more ways to score to complement his other attributes. A reasonable chance to play, likely from the bench, depending on how the match unfolds.
Thursday
Son Heung Min -- Tottenham host Dinamo Zagreb at 3PM on Paramont+ -- Son started and had a decent chance to head in a goal. Tottenham were having a good deal of possession for once which pushed Son out pretty wide and wasn't greatly involved around the box. Son did have a great moment when Lamela picked him out with a nice throughball and Son found Kane. In a large win, hard to criticize anyone so an ok showing was all that was needed. I think Son will start in a bid to get ahead like prior EL round.

Recap
Lee Kang In -- LKI continued to show good footwork and was bright in the moments that he had the ball but his influence remains a bit inconsistent and his shooting has been a bit wasteful as well. Was subbed off and Valencia came back to win so may impact future minutes but looked decent enough to stay in the mix.
Choi Kyoung Rok -- The storyline didn't play out as CKR may have imagined with a scoreless draw but Choi did play the whole match.
Yun Il Lok -- Started and played a hair over an hour. Couldn't watch but can't take his subbing off too well given level of opposition.
Jeong Woo Yeong -- Came on for garbage time and didn't get to do too much as Leipzig scored third goal right before coming on.
Kwon Chang Hoon -- Too early in his recovery.
Ji Dong Won -- Ji was really quite good technically but on such a struggling side, it feels a bit of a waste as Ji isn't the type of player who can go alone and create goals. Was subbed off with 30 or something (wasn't paying super attention).
Lee Jae Sung -- Lee has been so important it is kind of odd to feel let down on a day when he scored and played multiple positions well. Hamburg were controlling much of the attack and so some of Lee's quality was wasted in plugging holes as they'd pop up in Kiel's shape rather than being put to the attack. But his goal was good, beating his defender to head in a corner and an average day for Lee is a very good day for everyone else and Kiel remain in second.
Hwang Ui Jo -- Weekend of.ff
