Recap + Weekend Schedule March 28th

A bit better than the weekend with goals from Ki and Son.  Of note we have four Koreans scheduled to be in one match though three were out injured midweek.

Hong Jeong Ho was an unused sub and Ji Dong Won was out hurt.  Hopefully Ji is back in the mix at least for a bench/sub spot and I'd expect HJH back on the bench still.

Son Heung Min finally got another goal, beating the keeper to the near post with a powerful shot with his left foot.  He also had a hand in the first goal starting the attack, driving at the defense and drawing them in before passing it off.  He should start this weekend.

Koo Ja Cheol and Park Joo Ho both missed the midweek fixture with injuries.  Hopefully they make it back for the weekend.  If healthy, they'd both probably start but thats a big if.

Lee Chung Yong may start but has been on the bench a lot lately.

Kim Bo Kyung on the other hand has been starting but not being very effective.  Perhaps he gets bench this weekend.

Yun Suk Young came off the bench late in the match.  Looks like its back to benchwarming duty for Yun though I still hold hope that his benching was a function of match fitness after having not played 90 minutes prior to Saturday in a long, long, long time.

Park Chu Young is probably still an injury doubt with bench being a probability if healthy.

Park Ji Sung will start.

Ki Sung Yueng energized Sunderland against a strong Liverpool side, and added a nicely headed goal to nearly trigger an upset.  He most likely will return to the lineup this weekend.  Poyet will need to figure out how to get Bridcutt + Cattermole on the pitch along with Ki and certainly a good showing in the time that Ki was on vs Liverpool should give Poyet comfort.
