Weekend Recap

So the end of the season nears its end and while Wigan look unlikely to survive the drop, QPR still has a fighting chance.  In other news, Tuchel (Mainz' former manager) is headed to Dortmund where rumors may start on which players might be poached.  Certainly Park Joo Ho may fit need and be affordable though a move would be far from certain.

The recaps:

Hong Jeong Ho played 90 but reportedly played poorly (got a 5 score (2nd lowest) from local paper) though Augsburg fought through for another win to bring Europa League goal that much closer.

Ji Dong Won was an unused sub.  Augsburg has struggled a bit offensively so hopefully Ji shows his capabilities on the training ground and earns some match minutes.

Son Heung Min played 90 in another win to keep Leverkusen's good form going.  Neither great nor bad, hopefully Son keeps working hard to help Leverkusen win automatic CL spot.

Kim Jin Su was a surprise exclusion from squad.  Haven't read why he went missing if it were poor form or an injury.

Park Joo Ho looked good for the part that I saw (first half).  Still remarkable that he played so much at DM despite looking far better at LB.

Koo Ja Cheol was so-so but got a calf injury shortly before halftime and had to be substituted.  Hopefully it was minor (Koo tried to play through it) and won't take Koo out of action for long.

Lee Chung Yong remained out of action.  I suspect this weekend will still be too early though maybe we can start hoping soon afterwards.

Ki Sung Yueng had one of his worst performances in a Swans shirt this weekend.  He still had some nice passes and runs (such as threading a nice pass to a just-offside Routledge) but struggled to gain influence on the match offensively and struggled out wide defensively, particularly on the left where Amat was having a hard time playing FB.  He got pulled after 60 so hopefully he can freshen up and get ready for stretch run.

Kim Bo Kyung played 90 and almost scored as Wigan found some life and won, though probably too late to save season.

Suk Hyun Jun scored and played 90 in a loss.  Haven't seen highlight yet.
