Weekend Recap April 16th and Midweek Preview April 20th

Not much more action than last time around. There are two matches today as well for Lee Chung Yong and Park Joo Ho. Details in their "recaps".

Hong Jeong Ho -- Came on off the bench as a late defensive sub in another big win.

Ji Dong Won -- Still not fit enough for squad.

Koo Ja Cheol -- Played full 90 on the right wing and ran hard. Wasn't a great game for him as he had more than a few errant passes and a mistake in defense.  That said he delivered two great crosses, one whose shot was barely saved and the other was missed from point blank range. So even though a bad game for Koo by his standards this season, it was a good result for Augsburg and a continuing sign of his improvement this season that he could still contribute in a bad day.

Kim Jin Su -- Injured and out of favor. If Hoffenheim can get a bit of breathing room away from bottom three, maybe they will get him some minutes for resale purposes but I don't expect much otherwise.

Ki Sung Yueng -- Wow. We knew he was out of favor with Guidolin but to be left out completely is a huge drop for last seasons player of the year.  While the match was not as bad as score line indicated, Fer was pretty poor so perhaps Ki gets a shot soon.

Park Joo Ho -- With Durm hurt, PJH made the bench but with Schmelzer rested initially, it's a sign of his situation that he's not getting to play. With DFB Pokal the last chance for hardware, no chance of PJH starting and with Durm healthier, probably out of squad. On ESPN3 at 2:30 ET.

Lee Chung Yong -- Made bench but an unused sub. With FA Cup this weekend and Bolasie out with injury, there's no better chance for Lee Chung Yong to play than today but I am still doubtful of anything more than sub minutes. On NBC Extra Time at 3ET.

Suk Hyun Jun -- An unused sub.

Son Heung Min -- Another good offensive showing without Son in lineup and he only came on in final minutes of garbage time. You can see his desire to get back into goal scoring mode with some speculative shooting in his brief cameo.
