Recap before international break...

International break means a rest from writing up schedules but sadly no action this weekend.

First, lets start with the good:

Son Heung Min scored a beautiful goal... first winning possession of a near 50/50 ball, then flipping it past a defender, and coolly blasting the ball into the far corner.  Huge goal for SHM who goes to 2nd in the league in scoring and for Hamburg who rise to 8th in the table.  Looking at a European spot as mentioned by VdV when he signed now doesn't look so far-fetched...

Ki Sung Yueng played 90 as Swansea battled back from two goals down to a draw.  While KSY didn't have a significant hand in the two goals (he did win the ball back that led to the first), he provided stability and direction to the Swansea possession all day.  He didn't bring his shooting shoes but was otherwise stellar.

Now the rest:

Park Chu Young played 58 minutes.  He showed some of his great qualities in the first half, though he chose to shoot instead of pass off to a wide open teammate in one of CV's better opportunities.  He seemed gassed out pretty early in the second half though and was taken out in an eventual win.

Lee Chung Yong came on at the 91st minute when Bolton went down by one just prior in a desperate attempt to salvage a point.  Unfortunately for Coyle, no point was saved and in turn, Coyle's job was lost today.  While one would hope that a new manager would let quality players like LCY back into the starting XI, there will be more questions than answers over the next few weeks, especially with LCY away on KNT duty.

Cha Du Ri came on at '64 minutes in a loss.

QPR and Park Ji Sung seem stuck going backwards.  PJS looks tired and QPR are a defensive disaster.  Perhaps PJS bit off more than he could chew with this project.

Ji Dong Won was left off the bench again.  Kim Bo Kyung at least made the bench and had some flattering things said, with his lack of English being pointed to as one of the short term hurdles.

Park Joo Ho was left on the bench.
