Midweek Schedule and Weekend Recap

Park Chu Young and CV have the daunting task of taking on Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey.  Its on 4PM on BeIn.

Ki Sung Yueng take on Middlesborough in cup action Wednesday at 2:45PM.  Its on tape delay on Bein to 6PM.

As for weekend action...

Ki Sung Yueng played the full 90 but a horrible first half by Ki and Swansea were too much to overcome as they lost despite being at home to Norwich City.  Ki picked it up in the second half, including starting the play leading to the first goal by setting Davies free to cross it into Michu.  But 3 goals was too much.

Son Heung Min played the full 90 in a 2-0 win over Hoffenheim.  SHM started to flash a bit more but seemed to have miscommunication problems all day with his midfielders.

Kim Bo Kyung came on with about 10 minutes left in the match and scored his first championship goal. He dispossessed the defender and worked a 1-2 and neatly finished for Cardiff's fourth goal of the match.

Koo Ja Cheol played the full 90 in a loss to Bayern.  He played real well but FCA had a hard time linking more than a few passes together.

Lee Chung Yong also played 90 and had an assist in a draw.  Bolton seems stuck in neutral and seems far from even a playoff spot.

Cha Du Ri came on as a sub.

Park Chu Young was left on the bench, and Ji/Suk didn't even have that honor.  Park Ji Sung was left off... I presume his knee acted up again.
