Hong Jeong Ho did make the bench but didn't play.  Perhaps he will get a crack in the cup.

Koo Ja Cheol played poorly, including a poor header that resulted in a goal, and was pulled at the half.  Perhaps Hecking will try a new DM pairing for the cup match.

Son got a rest on the weekend, and one of his alternates (Kruse) scored a brace.  Son is learning how to play the heavier schedule of a CL squad + international duty.  I imagine he will be rested this cup match, maybe getting bench duty.

PJH played 90 in a blowout loss to Bayer.  Given strength of opposition, he should get the cup start.

Kim Bo Kyung sparkled in a tough loss to the Spurs.  Tough opponent so he may get the start but the club focus is on league play so he may get rested.

Ki played well on a bad team and Ji didn't even make the bench.  Their manager got sacked so its unclear how they will go forward.

Kiu played with the youth team and probably will continue to do so.

Park Ji Sung had a stellar match vs Ajax, scoring and assisting in a huge win over arch-rivals Ajax.  His old knees will probably get a rest though.

Lee Chung Yong played lots of a disastrous loss for Bolton who are out of the cup.  Yun didn't make the bench and QPR is also knocked out.
