Son played poorly vs Brazil, showing good speed but making poor decisions. He played better vs Mali, obviously with his cannon goal but also linking well with his teammates though he still had a few mental errors. He may be rested with CL next week and very little rest/training before the match.
Park Joo Ho was an unused sub but should start vs Bayern.
Lee Chung Yong showed great speed in both matches but was really controlled by Marcelo and Brazil. In the second match, however, he had two great assists in a dominant performance. That said, he's gone a bit out of favor plus he played for a lot of minutes so he may be on the bench come Saturday.
Kim Bo Kyung I thought was the best player across both matches. He was the primary source of creativity vs Brazil and was a strong presence and goal scorer vs Mali. He may get a start depending on his recovery from travel.
Ji was pretty poor vs Brazil. Good effort and work but his passes and shooting reflected how little playing time he's gotten. That said, if he can find his form, he'd be valuable for playing the lone striker role needed for KNT. He may not be in the squad though depending on Fletchers health.
Ki as stated above cannot play, but he was very good in both matches, showing the amount of poise he provides for the NT. He makes so few mistakes and distributes the ball so intelligently... WCQ would have been far easier with him playing.
Park Ji Sung should start with the long rest.
Hong Jeong Ho could also start with injuries and suspensions to FCA's other CHs.
Koo Ja Cheol I thought was very poor relative to his skills. He of course ran his tail off and provides leadership but boy were his passes and decision making off. Not sure why he's so far off form, but hopefully he can put things back together once he recovers from injury.
Kiu is always a question as to which team he'll suit up for, and Yun's status hasn't changed.
