Weekend of December 19th

So Ki Sung Yueng came up huge midweek didn't he?  Anyway, onto the schedule as we near winter break for many of the leagues.

Hong Jeong Ho came on at garbage time and with Augsburg doing well, I don't expect much change.

Same goes for Kim Bo Kyung.  With the schedule getting a bit crazier over the holidays, I suspect he'll get chances again... just not this weekend.

Son Heung Min played the full 90 last week in a pretty weak performance (though could be said for almost all of Leverkusen's players).  Hopefully a full week of rest and the promise of winter break will push him to a good performance.  He should start.

Park Joo Ho is slowly gaining his fans in Mainz and he should start again.

Lee Chung Yong earned a penalty last weekend and reports are that he had a good second half.  Should start but with Mark Davies coming back, there are more midfielders for Freedman to choose from (LCY + Davies not being similar players but could cascade to other players pushed out for Davies).

Yun may come back this weekend.  Really up to trainer at this point.  Doncaster is looking for defensive improvements so as soon as he's ready, I suspect that he'd start.

Ji is in Korea waiting for January.

Ki Sung Yueng was the hero midweek in a huge cup win for Chelsea.  Certainly the cup is a distraction but beating Chelsea has to be a confidence booster.  Ki came on as a sub so he shouldn't be as drained as an extra time match would normally be and should start.  He had instantly improved Sunderland's stability when he had come on (albeit with one really horrible pass that gave Chelsea a great opportunity), and hopefully playing in a more advanced position that he has ever played since his Celtic days will inspire him to contribute on both ends of the pitch.

Kiu wasn't called up to senior team for cup and will most likely remain with the B team until the new year at least.

Koo is coming back to health but with Wolfsburg playing well, he may need to wait until January to contest for a starting position.

Park Ji Sung is back and had a large hand in the win last week.  He should start again.
