Koo Ja Cheol was held out with muscle injury... perhaps to save him for the short rest ahead of this match.  Should start if healthy.

Kim Bo Kyung is desperate for action having not made the squad in a long time.  Perhaps he gets a chance to impress this week.

Ki was strong again, putting in some good work on both ends of the pitch.  He was really pushing the attack forward with his moves, and had some nice tackles to dispossess Southampton's attack, especially when Swansea went down to 10 men.  Unfortunately, mis-communication or simple error led to Ki letting Wanyama get past and score the winning goal late in the match as fatigue set in.  He may be rested for the cup match.

Hong Jeong Ho remains a late defensive sub.  He was efficient in the 10 minutes or so that he played, with some no-nonsense clearances to his name.  Bench should be his role until suspensions or injuries to the starting CBs accumulate.

Son was an unused sub as Leverkusen struggled to a loss.  He will be looking to help get Leverkusen back on the right track and should start.

Perhaps Ji will be ready for this match as he nears fitness.  Would probably be bench if fit.

Lee Chung Yong played 90 in a loss.  Probably will be rested for the cup.

Yun Suk Young was left out of the squad despite being declared fully fit.  He did get action in the reserves where he had an assist so hopefully getting into the first-team squad isn't too far away.
