Since no club matches this weekend with international break, I'm changing things up a bit and doing recap now rather than in two weeks when I (and perhaps you) would likely remember almost nothing.
Lee Chung Yong started and was again top class, creating a number of chances, providing an assist and scoring a penalty to help bring Bolton out of the relegation zone. LCY had looked like he was thinking too hard under Freedman but now he looks back to his natural and intelligent self which allows his technical game to flourish.
Hong Jeong Ho was an unused sub in a large victory.
Son Heung Min looked flat again. The strain of CL match really showed and was pretty sloppy for it, though it was shared to an extent by a lot of Leverkusen's player. He was taken out just shy of 70 minutes and that looked a bit late for him as he struggled to create an impact.
Koo Ja Cheol looked a bit better than last week on the whole but still looked a bit sloppy and off where he was at the start of the season. He played the full 90 and worked hard even if he didn't look very threatening. Park Joo Ho remained on the bench as he works his way back.
Kim Bo Kyung remained an unused sub.
Yun Suk Young was a bit sloppier than prior weeks. Like then, he struggled in deciding when to help out in the middle or covering the attacking wide man. One situation almost resulted in nearly an identical outcome as last week but the cross just missed. He looked a bit slow and perhaps he hit a bit of a wall from playing regularly after little minutes previously.
Suk Hyun Jun was hurt last week but came back to start and play just over 60 minutes without a goal.
Ki Sung Yueng stayed disciplined in the back, though he had one touch that was very sloppy and resulted in an Arsenal breakaway that was fortunately saved. He was marked pretty tightly and struggled to provide his usual influence, though he did well enough and Swansea came away with a very large win over Arsenal putting them in 5th over some very big clubs.
Ji Dong Won remained injured.
