The Bundesliga has the action midweek, and sorry for late notice and incompletion as busy with work travel this week.
Tuesday
Park Joo Ho and Mainz go to Köln at 2 PM ET. No TV. Koo Ja Cheol missed last weekend with injury and probably will miss this as well. Park Joo Ho should start. He did better in the part that I saw as he seems a bit more comfortable in the position, showing good defensive positioning and some help going forward.
Hong Jeong Ho and Augsburg got to Hannover at 2 PM ET. No TV. Hong Jeong Ho got the surprise start due to illness to starting CH and he may get the start if still not healthy. Unfortunately Augsburg faced Bayern and got beaten badly but Bayern have done that to lots of teams and Wienzierl seemed sympathetic to Hongs difficulty of facing such a quality side after little match action.
Wednesday
Son Heung Min and Leverkusen go to Kim Jin Su and Hoffenheim. 2 PM ET and no TV. Kim Jin Su should start but less certain of Som who should but may be benched.
UPDATE
Son played 57 minutes. I forgot that I didn't watch him play though reports were that he didn't play well. Hopefully he can put things back together after a so-so run and finish the first half of the season strongly. Calhanoglu appears to be out for tomorrow (UPDATE 2: looks like he's in the squad) as does Kruse so he is more likely to start.
Kim Jin Su was a mixed bag. Looked very good at times, particularly going forward. He was pretty dynamic going forward and had some good defensive work. However, a miscommunication with the CH resulted in the second goal. KJS was very far forward as Hoffenheim play aggressively, but he needed to work back harder as the CH switched off to take on another attacker. KJS' slowness resulted in the attacker having an uncontested shot to level the match at the time. He played 90 and should be a start.
END UPDATE
Ji Dong Won will not be fit enough for BVB hosting Wolfsburg which will be on GolTV (2 PM ET)
