Only one match midweek with Kim Bo Kyung and struggling Wigan go to Reading at 3PM ET on Tuesday with no TV. He should start but maybe bench.
Koo Ja Cheol came off the bench and was so-so, providing useful energy for Mainz but with some peculiar decision-making as well. Mainz fell apart under the Dortmund pressure in the second half and so Koo was limited in his ability to turn things around.
Park Joo Ho was unused sub but hopefully his presence in the bench means that a return is nearing.
Hong Jeong Ho remains injured.
Ji Dong Won played the full 90. Augsburg really had a hard time getting their offense going against a reborn Werder Bremen side who have made opponents look disjointed two weeks in a row. And so service was poor to Ji and by the same token, Ji looked pretty invisible. Hopefully they figure out this dip in form soon.
Son Heung Min scored a hat trick (a proper German one too with all goals in a half) and pushed Leverkusen to come back from 0-3 down to level it at four, only to give up the winning goal in the last seconds. Prior to the break, Son had almost no impact but the goal, when he tapped a loose ball from between the GK legs, seemed to turn up his confidence. He showed some nice composure controlling a long ball and beating GK with a deft touch; and then using his favorite cut and shoot from the edge of the box for the third. Then again, between his 2nd and 3rd, he had a terrible headed backpass that led to Wolfsburg fourth.
Kim Jin Su played 90 in a Hoffenheim win. I didn't get to catch this one.
Lee Chung Yong remained out with his injury. No news on when he might come back still.
Suk Hyun Jun came on just past the hour.
