Recap and Midweek Schedule April 12th

Apologies for the missing recaps.  Didn't get to watch as much as I was busy coaching the kids' teams.

Tuesday:

Kim Bo Kyung and Wigan go at it again at Millwall at 2:45 PM ET.  No TV.  He played 90 in a tough loss and reports were that he played well.  He should start.

Recaps:

Ki Sung Yueng played 90 as Swansea came back to draw Everton.  He had a few uncharacteristic missed passes in the early minutes but started to come into the match, and really started to get back to Ki quality as they moved back into a 4-2-3-1 in the second half.  His best opportunity to score came when he deftly flipped the ball over the defender with little room to move, but unfortunately couldn't get his shot on target.

Hong Jeong Ho and Augsburg had a rough go and lost though Hong JH played 90.

Ji Dong Won was an unused sub.  Caiuby pulled up lame so Ji may be back in the mix sooner rather than later.

Son Heung Min went back into the starting XI and looked good in what I saw (still have to watch quite a bit), scoring a brilliant volley and looking confident all around and helping Leverkusen cement their lead with a win in the chase for CL.  Usually being benched often results in a bit of excess nervousness so its good to see him mature a bit at least for one weekend.

Koo Ja Cheol scored two PKs and played 90.  I'll try to update with better opinions later when I see him and Park JH.

Park Joo Ho looked ok in what I saw and played 90.

Lee Chung Yong returned to training but it sounds like he's still a bit away from returning to the squad.

Yun Suk Young was out again with concussion.  Hopefully he can make the squad and get healthy next weekend.

Kim Jin Su had another rough outing and was subbed after an hour or so as Hoffenheim slipped to a loss.

Suk Hyun Jun returned and scored a pretty classy goal.
