Weekend Preview Nov 19th and Stale Recaps Nov 5th

Last minute heroics by Koo for KNT and we can put aside international football until March.  Phew.

Only now caught up to the matches from last weekend.  As usual post international break, its unclear if guys are carrying minor injuries or too tired to start so more guessing than normal.

Ji Dong Won -- Ji looked good if not super sharp.  The fatigue seemed to be kicking in with regards to precision with the final touch but he fought well in the air and provided a much needed offensive presence.  That mix evidenced itself with the KNT, especially playing out wide, where he lacked some spark to get around people well.  But Bobadilla is hurt again and so Ji will likely have to keep pushing through as he's likely to start again.UPDATE: Ji's battling through injury with weekend looking like a question mark.

Koo Ja Cheol -- Maybe we have to throw away the idea for Koo to ever be a proper 10 as some of his decision were really poor even if there's a lot more smoothness to his touches and moves than ever.  But he seems to really enjoy being a second striker alongside Ji and had some good chances that were only an inch or two wide in some not simple situations.  Like Ji, regardless of how jetlagged he is, he's likely starting.  UPDATE: Koo out for at least this weekend if not longer

Lee Chung Yong -- Not being 100% and leaving for international travel would seem to destine him to warm the bench. UPDATE: Pardew said he's not 100% but fine

Ki Sung Yueng -- It was a rough day for Swansea and a bad start for Ki who was proximal to the first goals but could hardly be blamed for Pogba's insane shot and Zlatan's shot should have been saved.  Yet it may be sad to say but Ki was also one of the few bright spots for Swansea.  Creating chances, driving the ball forward, and even putting in some tough runs late in the match on defense, Ki was hustling hard all match.  Again, with Swansea struggling to stabilize, perhaps Bradley shuffles the deck, but I think Ki starts again.

Park Joo Ho -- Remains on the margins of the squad as he admitted to start to think of moving on. UPDATE With injuries, maybe he gets to warm the bench.

Son Heung Min -- When he had the ball he did well and threatened as a counterattacking weapon with balls over the top over the course of the match.  But the quality was spaced out and Son had as many stretches of invisibility as he did quality.  Still not too many alternatives so high probability he starts again this weekend

Kim Jin Su -- Not going to play.
