Midweek Preview Apr 2 and Weekend Recap Mar 30

Right back into it. I'm behind on news but I think that there's a chance with Jeong Woo Yeong being in the squad for Bayern Wednesday (on ESPNews at 2:45) as he wasn't with B team on weekend and maybe hoping for a large scoreline given BL2 team. Otherwise, did have troubles watching this weekend despite my efforts so apologies for the weak recaps.

Ji Dong Won-- I couldn't find a stream but probably for the best as Augsburg lost badly to bottom team but good news is that they're still 5 points ahead of relegation zone and Ji played 90. Given his health, I'd be surprised if he were risked in a start, but I'd think that he'd be in squad if fresh enough.

Koo Ja Cheol-- Was taken out at 78'... Given lack of international duty perhaps he starts the cup given lack of alternatives if they want a chance at advancing.

Suk Hyun Jun-- Maybe he makes the bench.

Son Heung Min-- Came on as a sub and Tottenham scored soon after, though Son's involvement was only indirect with a run pulling defender away from Lucas who scored. Unfortunately, Son didn't get too many touches after and an error from Lloris at the end results in a loss that leaves Tottenham clinging onto fourth. With new stadium and fresh legs, Son should start midweek and hopefully get things going in the right way.

Lee Kang In-- Unlikely to play.

Kwon Chang Hoon-- Started but was first one subbed off after 68'. Not sure if that reflected his play or the needs driven from a red card earlier in the match, but Dijon are now bottom of the table and look certain to be relegated.

Ki Sung Yueng-- Came on into second half and while he provided possession in a match where Newcastle couldn't keep it with cheap turnovers, Ki couldn't really help in getting the ball forward. He did have a decent shot attempt which didn't curl onto the target as he intended. Hard to blame him for the problems Newcastle had all day, but didn't excel in his chance to regain a starting role either.
