CL gives me no time to catch up on what I missed on the weekend so apologies for sparse recaps. Son's fall season nearing the end...
Also don't forget Hwang Hee Chan also, where Salzburg go to Napoli at 3PM on B/R Live.
Tuesday
Lee Kang In -- Valencia host Lille at 3PM on B/R Live -- Lee KI was an unused sub, and I don't expect a start but maybe he gets on as a sub.
Wednesday
Son Heung Min -- Tottenham go to Red Star Belgrade at 3PM on B/R -- I only started to tune in for the final minutes right at the time that Gomes' horror injury occurred (Son had a late tackle and somehow Gomes' boot got caught and twisted right when Aurier collided). The severity of the injury was apparently enough for Son to not contest what looked like a reactionary and overly harsh red card. Hopefully he can move on midweek and also have his appeal successful for league play. I'd normally say that he'd start given red card, but not sure he's mentally up for starting and he may still be available for league play which seems the bigger challenge after another so-so result.
Recap
Jeong Woo Yeong -- Off the squad as he played for reserves.
Kwon Chang Hoon -- Came on as a late sub and provided some spark and handled the physicality well, earning a foul which lead to the leveling goal. Given that they were down to 10 men, there wasn't too many chances for KCH, but a good showing for the few minutes. Hopefully this is a sign of restoring his role a bit.
Ki Sung Yueng -- Looks like he's unlikely to play this season given a decent Shelvey showing which is enough for Bruce to keep going down that path.
Hwang Ui Jo -- Had a brilliant long range goal and an assist, and featured in multiple TOTW, so he must have had a very good showing. Comments from manager and teammates seem to reflect growing trust and integration which is a very good sign.
Suk Hyun Jun -- An unused sub.
Ji Dong Won -- Out injured
