Son Heung Min-- Played 90 and was dangerous at times with limited impact but will probably be remembered this weekend for a miss when he first timed over, with some pressure but also plenty of open goal to shoot at. Tottenham struggled again in transition until adding Lo Celso and Lamela. Hopefully Mourinho can focus on fixing that though it has been his largest weakness recently. As for cup, I imagine they want to win to keep trophy hopes alive as well as chance at Europa if league struggles continue. As such I think Son starts but a bench role is also possible.
Ki Sung Yueng-- Out injured and Bruce sounded skeptical of both improvement in health and players outside his core. I’m guessing Ki misses out for one of these reasons but a start is also possible as a warm body if he’s fit.
Suk Hyun Jun-- Started but struggled to get into flow, even as a target man. But he had two good moments, once getting for a long ball and sending in a cross which might have been PK, and another when he won a headed pass for a leveler that was ruled out for offside. Was taken off when they went down a man but likely was going to be subbed regardless as he wasn’t winning a lot of balls or contributing much else otherwise. I expect him to be on bench midweek but maybe just pessimistic and Reims could go two up top again
Hwang Ui Jo-- Came on as a sub in AM role with 20 minutes but Bordeaux struggled to get into attack or having flow and as a result couldn’t impact match with his minimal touches. I think they might start him to get his confidence up.
Jeong Woo Yeong-- With KNT U23
Kwon Chang Hoon-- Played 2nd half of a friendly and looked lively though small total minutes played are a bit of a concern but may be related to injury earlier in week. Had an awful pass in dangerous area that almost led to a goal, but he was good in attack, linking well and had a few shots just miss.
Ji Dong Won-- Played 20 minutes as a sub and like HUJ, didn’t really get the touches but his movement looked a bit better than his last run out.
Lee Kang In-- We will see when he returns as he just joined full team training.
