Not a great recap. But yay for Parasite, which is not my favorite Bong Joon Ho movie, but one I do love and I am amazed that it features two actors from the only two K-dramas my kids have ever seen lol.
Kwon Chang Hoon -- A difficult match, this time playing a deeper on the right wing where Freiburg struggled for possession and offensive fluidity. Not as electric as prior weeks, but was involved in many of the better sequences. He looked pretty tired when he was subbed off, having to run a bit more in the different role, but not a bad showing even if it wasn't great.
Ji Dong Won -- Again disappointingly didn't come on but 3 points helps pad their cushion over the bottom so maybe he gets a chance to work himself in sooner.
Lee Kang In -- A pretty awful showing when he came on. It started off bad when he overdribbled deep in his own half against two defenders and turned the ball over and gave the opposition a great chance. The poor decision making dominated where even many of the few good actions were bad decisions offset by skill or luck. He's young but he has to let the game come to him rather than try to be a one-man team like in youth sides. The talent is still there but will he get over the mental hurdle? Would a loan where he gets to have more control of play help? Not confident on the rest of the season with these kind of questions.
Hwang Ui Jo -- I did not get to watch but since he was pulled after 55 minutes, I'd think that it was not a good showing. But it was a win so hopefully just a blip.
Yun Il Lok -- Did not come on and no surprise given a man down and clinging to a one goal lead.
Son Heung Min -- Winter break.
