Son’s crazy schedule is making this a bit tricky to maintain.
Paik Seung Ho-- Apparently the starting DM was suspended last weekend... we'll see if he moves back in with a more traditional "6" available.
Lee Jae Sung-- Should start.
Hwang Hee Chan-- Things are going well so hard to predict how they'll line up. At some point he should get the start and seems a good chance as any this weekend.
Ji Dong Won-- Rumors of squad unrest but unfortunately, no signs of health either. Assuming that he's out.
Lee Kang In-- Will the punishment extend beyond a half? Should start but managerial concerns about squad dynamics may put him on the bench.
Hwang Ui Jo-- Not sure what they’ll do to change things for the better but I expect some changes. Hopefully keeps Hwang in the XI but bench if not.
Choi Kyoung Rok-- Out injured
Yun Il Lok-- Still waiting for first minutes this season off bench which is where I expect him to be this weekend.
Son Heung Min-- Son did his part in yet another EL qualifier struggle. After Mourinho talked about Son’s poor fit at CF against deep defenses yet didn’t adjust until well into the match. Regardless, Son was able to impact match early, trying to dribble against multiple defenders but eventually finding Lamela in space who scored. Son was quiet for rest of first half but apparently (I tuned out) had a big second half with Kane’s introduction allowing Son to return to wing, first scoring off a rebound then setting up Kane with a perfect cross. I have no idea how Jose will manage minutes with three matches in five days which is bonkers but I’m assuming he starts PL and EL.
Kwon Chang Hoon-- I expect a bench role given strong performance of competitors.
Jeong Woo Yeong-- I think Streich is starting to trust in Jeong so I expect him to start but not sure at which position.
