Midweek Preview Oct 20 and Weekend Recap Oct 17

Time to restart CBS All Access accounts if you’re interested. I’m opting for with ads because my other content can live. I’m getting pretty frustrated by the lack of BL2 on ESPN though.

Tuesday

Hwang Hee Chan -- Leipzig face Istanbul Basaksehir at 3PM on CBS All Access -  Only a sub and came on near the end with 10 minutes left. Didn't have to do too much with Leipzig, but did have a nice half-volley that was just barely deflected onto the crossbar. Disappointing that still not started league match but may point to a start midweek.

Thursday

Son Heung Min -- Tottenham face LASK at 3PM on CBS All Access - Well, Son was good, scoring early with a nice cut and shoot on a long ball, getting an assist and help setting up the third. When he came off with 10 or so minutes left to save himself for Europa, I turned it off but somehow Tottenham imploded. The offense may be an appealing option but as team continues to be far from looking like trophy winners, are Son’s best years being wasted? I think subbing off points to a start.

Recap

Choi Kyoung Rok -- Started and played almost 80 minutes and helped with Karlsruher's first win. Apparently played well in a CAM role but didn't get to watch but hopefully back on track to regain his preseason momentum.

Kwon Chang Hoon -- Both Kwon and Jeong keep coming on as subs simultaneously, this time with 20 minutes left. Kwon was the better of the two this week, with two half chances blocked and setting up a variety of action with his passing.

Jeong Woo Yeong -- Missed an open header and had some really questionable passes. Bit disappointing given

Ji Dong Won -- Also a late sub and started off in CF before further subs pushed him deeper or it could have been Ji's habits to drop there. Not too much to note as Mainz didn't have much control despite the need to score.

Hwang Ui Jo -- I didn’t watch given scoreline as HUJ did come on as a sub as it felt like garbage time as Bordeaux were down by three. They did get a consolation goal.

Lee Jae Sung -- Had an assist as he continues to contribute to Kiel’s season and also got very strong scores from Kicker. Hopefully ESPN gets their streaming act together so I can watch.

Yun Il Lok -- An unused sub as usual.

Lee Kang In -- The conflict arises again as LKI appears to be in the doghouse yet again, remaining an unused sub despite a close match. Incredibly frustrating that LKI keeps staying stuck in this mess..
