Paik Seung Ho-- I only have seen 30 minutes or so as of writing but was surprised to see Paik as the six. He looked quite conscious of the responsibilities of the role, but still showed some nice passes even if the flow of the match, albeit one that was choppy in general, didn't always come to him as much as it should. Given another midfielder picked up a red, I'd expect a start but we'll see in which role.
Ji Dong Won-- An unused sub again despite being only a goal down and Cologne down to 10 men. As such, unlikely to have a role beyond benchwarmer midweek.
Kwon Chang Hoon-- Streich sounded undecided on Kwon's inclusion in the squad after not dressing this weekend but he say that odds were more in his favor for midweek. Unlikely to do much if he is though.
Jeong Woo Yeong-- Finally got some minutes and made them count, racing onto a throughball on the counter and had a great chip of the GK to score his first Bundesliga goal. His other touches were not great with some turnovers in his passes, but hopefully the goal is a positive step to regaining a role. I'm hoping for more minutes off the bench this week.
Lee Jae Sung-- A brace as he continues his scoring form continues and had an assist on the other, with Bartels doing the inverse. Should start.
Yun Il Lok-- Came on as a sub with ten to go to be fresh legs in a win. Should be an option off the bench.
Lee Kang In-- Sadly, I've not heard any news on his return from COVID. Would have been a chance to play and showcase himself ahead of winter window.
Cheon Seong Hoon-- An unused sub but with an attacker picking up a red, maybe a bit closer to BL debut but for now, still looks like bench padding.
Hwang Hee Chan-- Scheduled to be out for rest of year with COVID recovery.
Hwang Ui Jo-- Benched and apparently the player who he came on for at 64' was pretty poor, so a decent chance of starting midweek.
Son Heung Min-- Tottenham looked out of sync all day, with rough touches by Son causing some half chances in the first half to go wasted, though he did get some chances to get behind the defense. In the second, Tottenham completely lost the ability to get the ball forward in the buildup and as a result Son was completely invisible. Of course, Son did get an assist on Kane's goal but that was more statistical anomaly as Kane shot from long range and the GK misjudged the ball completely. Not a great day but seemed to be fatigue hitting a lot of the top teams this weekend. Son will start and hopefully the deeper midfielders are up for the big match.
Choi Kyoung Rok-- Was unavailable due to yellow accumulation apparently. I'd expect a start midweek but unclear how the other match went.
