Tuesday
Hwang Hee Chan -- Leipzig host Man Utd at 3PM on CBS All Access -- Hwang HC wasn't available this weekend as he recovers from COVID, and I think he's out for this critical match tomorrow.
Thursday
Son Heung Min -- Tottenham host Antwerp at 3PM on CBS All Access -- Son again came up big and lit up the North London Derby with a spectacular curling goal from way outside the box. While Tottenham were content to defend deep, Son and Kane linked up well in the counter chances and it paid dividends just before halftime when Son got deep, had a few half-steps and fed Kane for their second. Son showed a lot more fatigue in the second half, less in terms of pace or running, but instead an inaccuracy and roughness to his touch. With Tottenham through to the next stage, Son likely to be rested though if things are close, one could see Son coming on to try to put them as group winners.
Recap
Paik Seung Ho -- Started and apparently had a chance to score that he put against the post. Disappointing that the match wasn't on ESPN+ and for the match to end in a loss in final minutes. I'm assuming he was doing an ok job as he was on until after that last goal.
Lee Jae Sung -- Watching as I write this. Interesting to see LJS now playing on the left of a midfield 3. Unfortunately, he did have a hand in the one goal against, as his mishit clearance gave Bochum the chance to score. But his move to attacking midfield in the second half, really turned the match around, with LJS creating lots of chances, and finally scored his first (!) goal for the season. He also had multiple chances to get a second with one spectacular save and a post preventing two of the best chances.
Choi Kyoung Rok -- Started and played 72 minutes. Reports were not great on his showing but they continue to win, albeit from a comeback after CKR came off.
Hwang Ui Jo -- Started and again, goal came after he came off but another win.
Kwon Chang Hoon -- Still out with COVID recovery.
Jeong Woo Yeong -- Continues frustration of being an unused sub.
Ji Dong Won -- Also disappointing for Ji not to come on, despite being down to fellow relegation strugglers.
Yun Il Lok -- Yun got somewhat of a surprise start with Delort out with COVID positive, and did his best in a false 9 role. He showed good strength and technical skills, but being a CF against PSG can be a bit lonely at times and he struggled with aerial battles and wasn't really on the same page as his teammates when Montpellier did get on the attack and was subbed off after an hour. Don't think the showing helped/hurt his standing much.
Lee Kang In -- Out still with COVID positive.
Cheon Seong Hoon -- Kind of surprised to see him show up as I was under impression that he was out with injury for rest of year but may had been relative to reserve season break in November. Sadly, he was an unused sub so not getting too excited for what may have just been a temporary fill-in.
