Weekend Preview Mar 5 and Midweek Recap Mar 3

I am getting quite fatigued of all the posts required in the compressed COVID-schedule so can't imagine the players trying to play all these matches on short rest.

Paik Seung Ho-- I assume out in transfer limbo.

Lee Kang In-- I'd like to think that playing past 10 men last time around is a good sign to start but the line between starting and not being used at all is pretty thin so coin flip here.

Choi Kyoung Rok-- We will see if he's fit after the minor knock last weekend. Should start if so.

Yun Il Lok-- An unused sub again and unlikely to be used this weekend.

Jeong Woo Yeong-- Looks like Jeong is moving back to a sub role which I expect vs. a strong opponent like Leipzig.

Kwon Chang Hoon-- Streich communicated that this weekend is likely too soon for Kwon.

Hwang Hee Chan-- Came on for time wasting in final 7 minutes... and scored the goal to ice the match! It wasn't the most difficult, with a rebound coming right to HHC with only a defender to beat in goal, but at least he made it count. He looked quite relieved after so perhaps some confidence back in his game. I expect him as a sub still though.

Ji Dong Won-- Should start.

Son Heung Min-- Played the playmaker as the widest left in Tottenham's attacking four, though Son, Alli and Bale all dropped deeper to help  in the buildup and sadly in the second half, defend. Son was having a pretty good game on the playmaking front, setting up Alli for the lone goal and a number of chances that Kane and the rest should have knocked in. But Son wasn't great at finishing himself on the day, and though he had the right ideas, his passes do not compare vs. the top playmakers. And of course, Tottenham struggled to maintain possession given their shape and approach which led to a very scary second half. I didnt watch all of the second half but what I saw from Tottenham was ugly though Son was trying his best. Will start.

Lee Jae Sung-- Played 90 and had some nice moments but the match was kinda dull with Kiel not looking overly threatened vs. lower level opposition so wasn't watching with the keenest of eye.

Hwang Ui Jo-- Sigh, HUJ had some glorious chances to really take it to PSG but did poorly in every opportunity. Given the challenge to get chances vs. such an opponent, the misses really stick out like a poor thumb, particularly when a cross came in and he couldn't even make contact with the ball when any would have been a likely goal. Had some poor decisions as well, particularly in the box with shots and passes not coming at good moments. Not a surprise to see him come off after an hour but not many alternatives. Probable to start but Gasset's patience has to be running thin and wouldn't be surprised to see him benched after such a bad showing.
