Son Heung Min -- Another good showing by Son who had two assists and was consistently aggressive... until the second half when he looked a bit out of gas and also had communication problems with Sissoko. Not as good as on the weekend but showing that he can add danger to a formation with five in the back. With two starts and fatigue showing at the end of both, I'd expect him on the bench for Saturday with CL looming next week but certainly Poch will be looking to throw him on when they need offense. UPDATE -- With Kane out, maybe Son goes up top or perhaps Pochettino goes for the bigger Llorente.

Lee Chung Yong -- I didn't watch this yet but apparently did ok, including a volley off the crossbar. Sadly his day ended early when he picked up an injury. Hodgson didn't provide immediate clarification and LCY wasn't particularly mentioned but I don't think LCY could be blamed either for an awful beating. Hopefully he's not out long but I think he'd have plenty of time to mend on bench or out of XI anyway.

Ki Sung Yueng -- We can see that Ki looks driven this year, whether ahead of WC or just competitive, with some really tough tackles and good hustle even if his teammates were looking slow motion. Those tackles were reflective though of some pretty slow footwork and shoddy defensive play overall, and was not helped by a poor Mesa playing the deepest role. Ki did better defensively when he dropped to DM from his earlier RCM role but still looks a half-step slow. But offensively he was driving the attack and had some good passes too. Is Ki ready to go another 90 on a short week? If so, I think he has a good claim on starting but that was his first 90 in a long time so we'll see if he's good to go.

Ji Dong Won -- Still out injured so I doubt he'll be in squad this weekend. UPDATE -- Looks like he's fit enough to be in squad. As to if he's being selected, maybe a chance with Cordova injured.

Koo Ja Cheol -- With a weaker opponent, I'd think that Baum will go for more offensive Koo but for some reason, Koo isn't an automatic choice in first XI.

Kwon Chang Hoon -- KCH apparently was excellent midweek, assisting the goal and providing a number of opportunities to his teammates and a few good shots on his own. The touch video shows good stability and amazing control of the ball. Now if he can find his scoring touch, KCH could become quite the dangerous weapon. Unfortunately, offensive players are in short supply this weekend after injuries so KCH will start but who he'll be working with is a bigger question.

Suk Hyun Jun -- Got a start and he too also had an assist. I'm less certain as to how he did... he did get taken out but he also hasn't really played many minutes to get match fit. I'd expect him to be on the bench this weekend but hopefully closer to a joker role.

Lee Seung Woo -- LSW also got a few minutes in a loss and from highlight videos, looked a bit sloppy passing wise but also energetic on the dribble. With Inter coming into town, perhaps LSW gets some garbage time minutes.
