Weekend Preview Feb 22 and Midweek Recap Feb 19

Well, glad to be wrong about Lee Kang In but unsurprisingly, Jeong Woo Yeong didn't even make the squad midweek as I expected given oversized travelling squad.

Kwon Chang Hoon-- To be honest, not sure why he was benched but after a limited role last week, he's hopefully fresh enough to have a more positive impact this week. I'd expect a start but not sure what's going on there.

Son Heung Min-- Tottenham finally get some reinforcements as it seems Kane is back. The biggest risk will be getting Son and Kane on the same page but I'd expect Son to start and carry a fair amount of the burden this weekend.

Ji Dong Won-- Should start this weekend after a strong showing last weekend.

Koo Ja Cheol-- Koo is a bit more uncertain as to his role given that he wasn't 100%.

Ki Sung Yueng-- Ki has an uphill climb to earn a role with Longstaff playing well and Shelvey nearing a return. Since the latter sounds like erring on caution, maybe a greater chance for Ki to make the bench, but two weeks off makes forecast tricky.

Lee Kang In-- Came on with 15 minutes or so to go with the match more or less settled with Celtic down by 3 and with only 10 men. Despite playing out of position as a left-footed right winger, LKI didn't seem phased by the magnitude of the situation and started showing some of the skills that make him so highly touted. Almost immediately, he crossed in a cross that the forwards almost combined for a goal. It wasn't all perfect as LKI's daring sometimes resulted in unnecessary risk/turnovers but at least LKI showed the potential and willingness to lead despite his age. As for weekend, I remain pessimistic as garbage time requirement seems difficult but should be on bench.

Suk Hyun Jun-- With his competition scoring last week, I imagine Suk will be a bench option again.

Paik Seung Ho-- He'll continue to warm bench for now.
