Hong Jeong Ho: Did not play and I don't think he has returned to practice yet. If he makes it, it will probably be on the bench.
Kim Jin Su: Apparently he's been doing well in friendlies, and their club dominated their cup match so he wasn't tested. He should start.
Lee Chung Yong: Seems reports are mixed as to his performances over the past couple fixtures but he should start again Saturday.
Kim Bo Kyung: Did not make the squad last weekend. His former teammate Mutch went so far as to express surprise at this over twitter. Perhaps it was related to his rumored move to Celtic (which he turned down) or maybe something related to the battle between Cardiff and Mackay (KBK's first manager who was about to take job at Crystal Palace). Most disconcertingly, there were texts published that were sent between Mackay and Moody (Mackay's personnel director) including racial epithets and jokes towards Kim Bo Kyung. Since then, Korean reports have interviewed a close friend of KBK who claimed that KBK didn't receive any racist comments from Mackay and in fact that Mackay was going to bring him to Crystal Palace.
Anyway, I'm not sure what this means for Kim Bo Kyung though I imagine that he will be left out of squad or barely make the bench either because of possible move or simply selection.
Ki Sung Yueng: Ki had a huge hand in Swansea's upset of Manchester United last weekend. He scored a very nice goal from the top of the box which pushed momentum fully behind Swansea's side. He also provided a number of clutch tackles and did his usual classy distribution thing and earned the club's MOTM. He should start again.
Son Heung Min: Son also had a huge game in a 3-2 win in the first leg of CL playoffs. He scored the winning goal before half which seemed to lift his confidence as afterwards he found his groove with some brilliant play. Hopefully he can take this into Dortmund where he's always done well. I think he should start if fresh.
Ji Dong Won: He didn't make the squad over the weekend and now has a leg injury knocking him out for another month. Hopefully he recovers soon.
Yun Suk Young: He didn't make the squad and we'll see if he makes the squad this weekend. If not, hopefully its a sign of him finding a place where he can start regularly.
Koo Ja Cheol + Park Joo Ho: Both played well in the cup loss on Saturday. Koo seems to be finding form again and scored a nice goal from distance. Park Joo Ho also started as a DM in preparation for Asian Games. However, Mainz defending was poor and they are out of the cup despite playing 3rd division side. They both should start this weekend.
