Pretty easy schedule this midweek as Swansea and Ki Sung Yueng host QPR and Yun Suk Young. Sadly, with Yun injuring his knee last weekend, a Korean derby looks to be unlikely. Its Tuesday at 2:45 PM ET on NBC Extra Time.
Ki was a bit more off and on this weekend. He looked good at times but seemed constrained a bit tactically, at times playing a 3rd CB role, and also influence-wise, like the middle stretch where he had less influence as Swansea struggled to maintain possession. Having Shelvey playing a bit wild alongside only compounded this as Ki seemed to have fewer chances to work the build up. He should start again midweek though hopefully in a role with a bit more attacking license.
I didn't watch Yun as much as it was taping on the DVR and I saw that he had gotten taken out for injury. I did see the start of the second half, and he looked to be struggling after the HT break to move normally (there was one moment where he spun around away from the attacker) and soon sat down and asked for a sub. On the one hand, it didn't look like a season-ending or prolonged injury as he walked off on his own power, but the fact that he had a knee injury earlier this year, and combined with the random whims of Redknapp could mean bad timing for this injury. I imagine he will be held out of this match.
