Weekend Preview and Schedule - Sept 18th

Two Friday matches rather than one.  The schedule gets a bit congested with midweek fixtures both this week and next, as Capital One Cup and German "English" week.  That makes it a bit tricky to forecast who's in and out, especially as I write this before Thursday's matches take place.

I'll be back with midweek recap tomorrow or so.

Kim Jin Su - He started and played well going forward last week... but as to how much blame he gest for leaving holes behind him is up in the air.  That said, I expect Kim Jin Su to start as Hoffenheim look to get some offensive spark going.

Suk Hyun Jun should start again as he rides his hot streak, even if his goal last week was a bit fortunate as a longball got misplayed by the opposition and right onto Suk's foot.

Yun Suk Young was an unselected player midweek and his future looks particularly cloudy as QPR already have a backup LB in Hill who has the bonus of being able to play CH so even making the squad will be difficult if he's not first choice LB.  With the loan window still open, Yun still has options if he's not in the plans but lots of uncertainty for now.

Ki Sung Yueng had his baby daughter in Seoul, so he'll probably be given time to see his newborn child and help his newly expanded family settle in at least for the weekend.

Lee Chung Yong was featured on Crystal Palace's website... promoting the midweek cup match so I expect he'll be on the bench (or even off squad) rather than on the pitch as Son comes on for Korean/London derby.  He'll be eager to earn more minutes at the Cup match midweek though.

Son Heung Min playing spot depends on how much he plays midweek but I expect him to start with attacking options slim for Tottenham.

Hong Jeong Ho missed the midweek fixture.  If he's fit, and certainly not sure on that, it may have been to save him for Bundesliga action which I'd think is higher on Augsburg's priority list.  Then again, there are two BL matches this week and it wouldn't surprise me to see him rested another match even if fit.

Ji Dong Won may be forced into duty with Bobadilla suffering an unknown injury midweek in training.  It will depend on Europa role.

Koo Ja Cheol will probably start unless he's ragged after Europa match.

Ryu Seung Woo wasn't in the CL squad and will probably be left out this weekend too.

Park Joo Ho will probably be on the bench for now.
