Weekend Recap Aug 31

Watched what I could on live or replay but BeIn remains the bane of my existence.

Jeong Woo Yeong -- Made the bench so that seems like good news, but the distraction of U21 callup is not good timing especially when the matches were cancelled. Would have been far better trying to impress Streich.

Kwon Chang Hoon -- Had his first start but Freiburg really struggled with the new shape. KCH didn't even get involved early and probably could have helped out a bit more in defense playing on the right. But KCH started to get touches and had some decent passes and runs before Streich switched shape at halftime and took off KCH. Not a great day and bad timing with international break...

Ki Sung Yueng -- Made the bench with injuries elsewhere but didn't come on.

Hwang Ui Jo -- Started but was taken off after 70 minutes or so. Though it didn't sound like he played well, they did eke out a draw against a strong side and he scored two on KNT duty the other day, so hopefully he can get going again.

Suk Hyun Jun -- An unused sub... not sure whats going on there if they wanted to avoid risking an injury to a last second sale or complete lack of use. With Reims in decent position, don't expect a big change.

Lee Kang In -- Came on in garbage time so getting real minutes, albeit few and of low consequence.

Son Heung Min -- A very good performance and unfortunate that Leno was amazing in goal and his teammates failed to finish some great opportunities. Son continuously got behind the Arsenal defense, and his shooting and passing were very accurate. His throughball that setup the first goal was superb and he earned a PK for the second with his quick movement in the box. His decision making got a bit forced at the end before being taken off with 10 minutes left.

Ji Dong Won -- Out injured
