Champions and Europa Leagues start off this week (sigh, more work). Reminder, for those thinking of subscribing, you can pay monthly for BR Live and save 30 bucks by cancelling right after group stage and again right after quarterfinals. I'm not gonna post Oh In Pyo in LASK Thursday at EL who is out injured still.
Still a bit behind on the watching with family in town... hopefully schedule clears out a bit soon (but next weekend still a bit dicey).
Tuesday
Lee Kang In -- Valencia at Chelsea - 3 PM on BR Live -- Played the last 30 minutes or so against Barcelona with the match well settled. Hopefully he gets a run out from the start but with new manager, not sure how things will go.
Hwang Hee Chan -- Salzburg vs Racing Genk -- 3PM on BR Live -- Was on bench all weekend so I'm guessing rested for CL but I don't follow him closely enough to know.
Wednesday
Son Heung Min -- Tottenham at Olympiacos --12:55 PM on TNT -- A good showing was rewarded with goals and a win as Tottenham find themselves back in top 3. Son was at the heart of it all, scoring the first by running onto a long ball, cutting in, and shooting back across GK into the lower corner. Then he had a big hand in the second, driving it up and feeding Aurier for the cross. And then Son scored his second, with a perfect volley into the lower near corner.
Recap
Ki Sung Yueng -- An unused sub.
Hwang Ui Jo -- Had an assist for the second and played about 70 minutes in a win so can't complain as they sit in top half of table.
Suk Hyun Jun -- Came on as a sub with 15 minutes to go and in a wrinkle, with Dia staying on.
Jeong Woo Yeong -- Paid the price for international duty and was left out of squad. With Freiburg doing so well, could be a long path back to even a sub role.
Kwon Chang Hoon -- Like JWY, seemed to pay the price for absence but at least made the bench. Freiburg rolls on to third in the table and will still be a bit tough to get into starting XI consistently if he's flying around the world.
Ji Dong Won -- Out injured.
