A fairly disappointing week for the first tier guys with very little to watch, but a goal for Lee Jae Sung and Choi Kyoung Rok in the second tier isn't too bad.
Tuesday
Son Heung Min -- Tottenham vs Red Star Belgrade - 3PM on B/R Live -- With the long travel due to KNT duty, Son was rested on the bench, but Tottenham's attack was rudderless without him and Eriksen. When he came on, he provided an instant spark, nearing scoring when his shot was deflected onto the cross bar and being the source of most of Tottenham's offense after. Unfortunately, his decent play wasn't enough to earn Tottenham three points, and he should start tomorrow if they want to save their CL campaign. It is very worrisome that the team seems overly reliant on Son right now.
Wednesday
Lee Kang In -- Valencia at Lille - 3PM on B/R Live -- I didn't get to watch as he came on for final 15 minutes, but his manager was complimentary of his play... though it did seem like it was somewhat designed to comfort LKI after he was upset about picking up a red card in final minutes. Hopefully the suspension is short in the league, and as of now, I don't expect a major change in his role midweek, where I still expect him to be a sub.
Recap
Jeong Woo Yeong -- Unsurprisingly given his low depth position and international week, was left off of squad. At some point, this balance will not work.
Kwon Chang Hoon -- Like Jeong, also an unused sub though at least he made the bench.
Ki Sung Yueng -- Again out of squad. January feels far away.
Suk Hyun Jun -- An unused sub with the ostensible excuse of protecting their one goal lead.
Hwang Ui Jo -- Was rested after international duty, and played well when he came on in the second half on the left side of the attack. He had some good touches and had a decent shot or two, and a goal that was chalked off for a foul/offside I didn't quite catch. He's looking a bit more comfortable in the hybrid left winger/second forward role, and was a bright spot despite not scoring.
Ji Dong Won -- Out injured
