Jeong Woo Yeong-- Made the squad but did not come on. Maybe he makes the bench but unlikely to play.
Kwon Chang Hoon-- Did not come on which is a bit disappointing given their need to equalize but not surprising either. I don't expect much difference this weekend.
Ki Sung Yueng-- Have to really think about his future at Newcastle after being left out of the squad. With the Longstaff brothers as local heroes, he'll have to wait for injury or long period of poor showings to help, and yet Bruce seems to prefer Shelvey despite the latter's poor season.
Son Heung Min-- Started but tried too hard to be a hero and ended up not helping Tottenham on a miserable showing. Too much lost possession when he tried to dribble in bad positions in particular. Not the worst in the side but hard to credit or blame any one player when it was all so bad.
Lee Kang In-- I doubt going to Korea will help his chances of starting or even playing as a sub, but has a chance to play.
Suk Hyun Jun-- Played 10 minutes as a sub in a win, and scored a goal over international break in a friendly so hopefully past whatever prevented him from being in the squad previous weeks. Should be on the bench this weekend.
Hwang Ui Jo-- Started and played on the left wing for most of the match where he definitely looked out of position, but scored an excellent goal from range and played full 90. The biggest problem playing out wide are his instincts and lack of quickness, but he held the ball up well when called upon and provided some flexibility to the attack when he played more centrally or higher up. We'll see if playing the whole match reflective of greater fitness and how he's handled post international break, but for now I assume he starts.
Ji Dong Won-- Out injured
