Midweek Preview Dec 3 and Weekend Recap Nov 30

Well I'm back. Apologies for the gap in service. I will refund your $0 subscription fee :P

I did watch some this weekend but more or less missed midweek activities. I tried to motivate to watch but was pretty much checked out from devices and so it goes.

Hwang Ui Jo-- Was rested this weekend. I guess his knee was a bit sore but probably also related to tired performances in prior weeks and the fact that they play again tomorrow. He featured in the press conference so I don't think omission on the weekend is much of anything and also means that he's likely to start.

Suk Hyun Jun-- Came back into the squad and apparently did a bit better when he came on late with a different team shape. He assisted the last minute equalizer which hopefully bodes well for more minutes going forward.

Son Heung Min-- Started and looked pretty good even if some things didn't quite break his way in terms of scoring but he did have a nice assist and continued to cause danger with his runs. He likely would like his last chance back when he had a breakaway and took a moment to shift to right instead of shooting and was tackled at critical moment. A good showing but I'm worried about play making in the absence of Eriksen, both in terms of receiving quality and needing to sit wider/deeper to do the same. With the LB playing as an auxiliary third CB, Son has the whole left side more or less to himself and thats a lot of running even if it affords him more space. At least they qualified for knockouts midweek so that Jose has the option of keeping the load lighter.

Ki Sung Yueng-- No change and with CM/DM roles playing well, unlikely to change.

Jeong Woo Yeong-- Made bench again but unused.

Kwon Chang Hoon-- Came on as a sub and provided some spark. That said it was garbage time and he had a few poor decisions in his effort to make something happen.

Ji Dong Won-- Still out injured

Lee Kang In-- Picked up a fairly serious muscle strain and is out for a while.
