Weekend Preview Feb 1 and Midweek Recap Jan 28

UPDATE 2: Ki Sung Yueng got his release from Newcastle so he leaves the schedule too. Hopefully he gives it one more go somewhere in Europe so not formally sending him off yet.

UPDATE: Suk Hyun Jun drops a tier to Ligue 2 and returns to Troyes in an attempt to restart his career. Never really got in sync with Reims but he did play here and there so can't say he didn't get a chance. Hope he gets going again.

Jeong Woo Yeong falls off as he goes out on loan back to Bayern reserve team. I guess its good that Bayern would take him but I'd like to think that there's a tier of play higher that he could test himself better at. Or conversely earn better opportunities at Freiburg by staying in visible sight. And we may never know what would have happened if he opted out of the AFC U23 cup, but it must have stung to be a marginal player there.

We'll see if we need any more edits as transfer window closes tomorrow. Certainly feels like Ki or Suk could go but so quiet on both fronts so not sure even of that.

Ji Dong Won-- It sounds like they're being very careful in his return. We'll see if he makes his on pitch return this weekend but I don't expect any more than a sub role.

Yun Il Lok-- Remained an unused sub. Maybe if it gets ugly, he'll get a chance to come on.

Lee Kang In-- He showed the technical skills that have made his career so far but as he's done occasionally, he struggled to influence the match when he had less touches he had with sides built around him like at youth and B team levels. IMO, he's probably best a bit deeper, but he prefers being in a more attacking role. But while he can dribble and shoot well, he's not quite as natural in finding space to receive the ball and struggles on when to pass/dribble/shoot. Some of those will come with time and experience but in a race for CL spot, we'll see if they stick to long term vision. Likely on the bench and if a role, late.

Kwon Chang Hoon-- I'm not sure if his early sub offs are a reflection of his fitness level or Streich, but I'm leaning former and hoping he starts again but not certain. Certainly likely to come off bench if not.

Son Heung Min-- Son will start barring some last minute illness or something.

Hwang Ui Jo-- I didn't watch his last showing to know... will play but if its from the start, I don't know.
