Thursday
Son Heung Min and Tottenham go to Bournemouth at 1 PM on NBCSN - Another disjointed performance as has been the norm under Mourinho but at least it was a win. Son, along with Lo Celso, was one of the primary means of transitioning to attack. His decision making wasn't great though, often trying too hard with other attackers invisible or static. Despite his smiling demeanor, Son has been known to get into it with opponents and teammates and a dust-up between him and Lloris broke out at halftime. It didn't seem any more than two frustrated competitors venting but being the only match on TV does make it a bit of a distraction. Should start as he was subbed off for rest with 15 or so left. UPDATE Risk of posting minutes before... Son rests this one ahead of NLD but might come on if things are close
Sunday
Son Heung Min and Tottenham face Arsenal at 9:30 AM on NBCSN - Son should start the NLD barring events midweek. Maybe I'll stick in a recap here
Lee Kang In and Valencia go to Leganes at 1:30 PM on BeIn Esp / La Liga - I was surprised to hear that LKI came on with 30 minutes left in a close match. In even better news, he had a wonderful goal, stepping in and scoring a rocket just inside the post. He also had a spectacular cross that was headed against the cross bad (and the shooter was a hair offside). I didn't get to watch but on touch video seemed to still have a few moments of trying too hard. This goal feels a bit of a mixed blessing as there might be more reluctance to sell LKI, as its very clear that he needs to play more next season. Likely on the bench again but at least there's hope that he'll play more down the stretch.
